The Gunpowder Grotesquerie - Call of Cthulhu

"The year is 2004. To celebrate 400 years since the famous discovery of the Gunpowder Plot below the Houses of Parliament, you have joined an exclusive tour of the basement rooms where Guy Fawkes was discovered preparing to blow up the monarch. But things soon take a strange turn and all is not as it seems in the darkness below the corridors of power. Past and present collide and you must work as a team to understand what is going on, and try to stop something far worse for humanity than the mere blowing up of the King. The stories about bonfire night were wrong, it seems, and the horrors of that night much worse. Can you survive...the gunpowder grotesquerie?"

All levels of experience with Call of Cthulhu and role playing games welcome. Experienced players are welcome to create their own character (modern setting), or pre-generated investigator sheets can be provided if needed.
