What we did!
2023 was the year for our junior team! We trained 5 young Pokémon trainers to compete in what can only be seen as the biggest Pokémon event of the year in the United Kingdom, along with roughly 1000 other trainers they competed to be the very best in their respective age category! We rented a mini bus, apartment and build all the competitive decks for them to train and use during the event!
The event took place over the whole weekend, Saturday was dedicated to the main event consisting of 7 rounds of 50 minutes each. The goal is to win 2 out of 3 games per round to then be paired up with winning or losing players in the next round. Bart who coached our team before, during and after the event did his best to guide all the trainer through their first professional event!
