MTG Charity Beejlander Bulk-Bonanza 12 Dec
Friday 6:30PM
For the festive season we're running our first official Mystic Games MTG charity event with FREE ENTRY*. There's a bit of friendly competition going on against the Yu-Gi-Oh lads as to who can do the biggest charitable donation, so lets see if we can show them who the better card game is ;) .
For this event, we'll be playing Beej-lander! Beej-lander is a variation of Highlander cooked up by Loading Ready Run. Normal Highlander is a format where you build a 100 card singleton deck, similar to commander (but it's 1 v 1, and you don't have a commander!).
Beej-lander is a variation where you play with... Well, bulk. Dollar Store re-packs to be specific. So for this event, we will be using all the bulk in the shop and a load of 'pre-loved' rares specially ordered to make our own 100-card Mystic re-packs. On the line for the grand prize, we will be putting up one of our full-art store championship promos from the Mystic Vault (TM). All you have to do is turn up on Friday the 12th of December at 18:30, build your deck of bad cards to fight for it!
The event entry for this event, although free, will be capped at 30 entrants. This is because we only have so many cards to go around, so if you want in, make sure to book your spot through our discord MTG channel, our website, or in-store.
*And your eyes don't decieve you! Entry for this event is indeed free. A great big £0. This is because for this event, what we are asking for instead is a food donation to be brought to the event for Witney foodbank, roughly equaling the usual £8 fnm entry. Just bring this along, and you'll be able to shuffle up and play. I've included a link below that you should check before donating, as it givess an up to date list what the food bank is needing for the christmas period.
